Steps to trouble shoot viewing problems:
Step 1
Try to change the active X setting on your internet explorer.
1.Open Internet Explorer
2.Click 'Tools' >> 'Internet Options' >> 'Security'
3.Click 'Custom level’
4.Scroll down the list to 'ActiveX'
5.Be sure all 'ActiveX' controls are 'enabled'
If this step does not help you may try the next step.
Step 2 (This worked for me when I started using Windows 7)
Go to axis.com and click
on downloads.
You may have to register your name before you can download.
C lick on Click on "Downloade Software Tools" in
the right pane and download "Axis Media Control (AMC)",
then click "Download AMC Embedded msi.msi". Then
Install/run software by following instructions. This needs
to install windows media control and then install the Axis
software.
Check if you can view the live webcam.
