Wireless Internet Access
Beginning 2008, Air2Access chose to no longer provide Wi-Fi service at Eldean Shipyard.
Sprint and Ottawa County, Michigan have partnered to provide high speed wireless internet access county-wide. The service is currently offered at a discount to Ottawa County Residents and those located at Eldean Shipyard for the summer months. Boaters will be able to have internet service at the dock as well as many miles off-shore and up and down the coast. Besides being available in Ottawa County, subscribers will be able to use the service nationwide anywhere that Sprint has service - for FREE.
Current rates: A yearly contract for unlimited service is $59.99/month or there is a casual user (40 mb) service contract is $39.99/month.
A month-to-month unlimited service is available for $79.99/month.
This is a secure network so a sprint card is required for access. The cards are available for $79.99 (normally $150 for non-residents).
